Intended use: awards-ceremony slide image for a mysterious New Year's evening "Bal Moderne" — a private theatrical play; the theme is "manuscripts don't burn". A detail shot, no faces. Scene: darkness of a stage; two hands in black satin gloves hold an old handwritten manuscript of thick cream paper, written in dense ink handwriting (illegible strokes, no readable words). The edges of the pages glow with a thin line of orange embers as if touched by fire, yet the paper stays whole and unburnt. Around the hands several loose handwritten pages float in the air, frozen mid-flight, their edges glowing the same ember orange. A crimson velvet curtain barely visible behind in the dark. Camera: close-up, slight low angle, ARRI Alexa 35, Cooke Speed Panchro 50mm, gloved hands and manuscript sharp, floating pages softly blurred. Light: one hard white follow-spot from above is the brightest, the ember edges cast warm orange light onto the satin gloves, light haze, the rest deep black. Colour/finish: deep black #0B0B0C, crimson red #D3122A, ember orange, pearl paper white, a touch of antique silver. Fine film grain, crushed blacks, slight vignette. Empty dark space in the upper 35% for a title. Constraints: no faces, no full figures, no readable text, no logos, no candles, no screens, no CGI plastic look, no HDR halos.
