[GOAL] Open the episode on Yalmez in a quiet museum of old clichés: each cliché is an exhibit under glass with a big plaque; one glass case breaks. [WORLD] A grand old museum hall, marble floor, tall windows, cold silver morning light, dust in the air, cinematic 35mm film look. Glass display cases on pedestals; in front of every case stands a LARGE plain brass plaque on a low stand, wide, angled towards the camera, with NO text on it. [EVENTS] Shot 1 (0–5s) — LOCKED-OFF STATIC wide shot, the camera does not move: exactly three glass cases stand in a row, left to right, each with its big blank brass plaque. Case 1 (left): a neatly folded white handkerchief. Case 2 (middle): a pair of pink high heels next to a small toy steering wheel. Case 3 (right, nearest): an old wooden writing desk piled high with many, many thick old leather books. Gayka walks very slowly into the frame from the left, pausing to look at each case in turn, holding the glowing brass nut. Shot 2 (5–8s) — LOCKED-OFF STATIC medium shot: Gayka stops in front of case 3. Inside: the old wooden writing desk with tall towers of thick old leather books on every side, and in the centre one large book lying wide open, its two cream pages completely BLANK with no letters. The big blank brass plaque stands at the bottom front of the case. Nothing else is on the desk. Gayka studies it for a long moment, then slowly raises the glowing nut close to the glass. Shot 3 (8–10s) — Extreme close-up of the glass: a crack shoots out from the point where the nut touches it and spreads like a spider web across the pane, then the glass bursts into shards in slow motion. [SOUND] Echoing museum silence, slow footsteps on marble, a soft hum as the nut glows, a sharp crack and the crash of breaking glass. No music, no dialogue.
